Italy has strengthened its digital ecosystem for career guidance and lifelong learning with the launch of AppLI and EDO. AppLI, a generative AI-powered platform, provides personalized career advice, job opportunities, and learning resources, reaching over 45,000 users in its first year and receiving an average user rating of 7.2/10. EDO complements AppLI by providing digital learning resources to develop professional skills. Both tools support personalized career pathways and are integrated into the national digital platform SIISL, connecting career guidance, vocational training, and active labour-market policies. These initiatives align with European priorities for upskilling and reskilling.
