The admission thresholds for physiotherapy programs have significantly changed this year. While last year, only ELTE required a score of 340 or higher to be admitted, this year a score of at least that amount was required for admission to five universities, with Pázmány experiencing the largest increase: the admission threshold increased by 144 points in a single year.
On Thursday evening, thousands of applicants eagerly awaited the moment when they would find out if they had been accepted into their dream university. After the release of the results, celebrations erupted: there was dancing, crying, and emotional embraces, and some people even met and discovered that they would be classmates starting in September.
